I am a retired aircraft engineer originally from Great Britain. My naturist adventure started in 1992 when my wife and I stumbled onto Studland Beach located on the south coast of the UK, a well known naturist location. We had just finished a liquid lunch in a local pub and ended up daring each other to take a skinny dip whilst walking back to our campsite along the nude beach.

 I moved to Canada with my wife a couple of years later and shortly afterwards discovered Crystal Crescent Beach in Nova Scotia. We soon became involved with The Bluenose Naturist Club (BNC) a non-landed group who take care of Crystal Crescent Beach during the summer months and organize pool swims as well as other events in the fall, winter and spring.

I served as Vice President for the BNC from 2007 to 2016 and as secretary from 2016 until now.

I have helped to organize and have ridden in the Halifax World Naked Bike Ride for seven years. 

I have been on the board of directors for the FCN since 2011, serving as East Coast Director and as FCN Membership Secretary since August 2019.
