Welcome to the new FCN website!

As you can see, the FCN website has been completely revamped. The new website features updated content, a new appearance, full support for mobile devices, and some completely new features.

The following information is intended to help introduce you - our members - to what is new.

Logging in

First things first ... if you are a member, you will want to be able to login. If you are on a desktop browser, you will see the login link in the top right corner of the header page. If you are on a phone, click on the  icon on the right side of the dark bar at the top of the screen.

Enter the same email address you used with the old site. You will need to request a password by clicking on "Forgot password", entering the CAPTCHA code, and then clicking SUBMIT. An email will be sent to reset your password.. (You can use the same password as you used previously if you like.) Using a "nickname" instead of an email address is no longer supported, as it was on the old website. You must use the actual email address.

One new feature is that you can now enable logins via Facebook and Google. If you are normally signed in to one of these social networks, this can simplify signing in to the FCN website.

If you have forgotten the email address you used to register with the FCN (or if you need to change it), please contact membership@fcn.ca.

What's New

You have no doubt already noticed that the website itself has a brand-new look. But beyond the visuals, the site has been designed to make navigation easy, allowing you to quickly find what you are looking for. The main menu shown throughout the site provides direct access to most topics, with supplemental pages linked from within the main pages. And there is now a new site-wide search text field shown right in the header.

Although the new website has much of the same information that was previously available on the old website, you will find that many of the pages have been rewritten or at least updated. 

The new website offers full support for mobile devices, so you can now use it on your phone or tablet.

A new "Member Area" offers member's-only content, such as the access to digital copies of back issues of Going Natural magazine. The "Member Area" only appears in the menu once you have logged in.

This new website uses a platform provided by Wild Apricot, a Canadian company that offers tools for membership-based organizations (like the FCN). Using this platform has enabled the FCN to provide a cleaner, more full-featured website.

Membership Card

One of the changes we are making with the launch of this new website is making your FCN membership card accessible digitally.

When you are logged in to the website, you can access your membership card by from your account profile page. In addition to just displaying your card onscreen (which we anticipate will be how most will want to use their card), it is also possible for you to print your card yourself.

(Meanwhile - your old printed card will continue to work until it expires.)

Renewals

The term of your existing FCN membership has not changed.

 When it comes time to renew your membership, you will be sent an email in advance reminding you of your upcoming membership expiry. The email will contain a link that brings you right to the page on the site where you can renew your membership. 

One new feature is that you now have the option to set up automatic renewals, for added convenience.  

Member Discussion Forum

One of the new features in the Member Area is a discussion forum. We invite FCN members to use this to discuss a variety of naturism-related topics, such as announcements of naturist events, naturism in the news, or questions/suggestions for the FCN.

Photo Galleries

Another new member-only feature is photo galleries. This area allows you to browse photos from past naturist events, as well as share your naturist photos.

Mobile app

One of the new features is an app for your phone or tablet, which will give you access to your FCN membership card, allow you look for naturist events, and register for FCN events. Download the app by clicking one of the buttons below, or by searching for "Wild Apricot" on the Apple or Google app store, then downloading the "Wild Apricot for Members" app.
